Digibordrace serious game

Digibordrace

Educational Publishing company Malmberg commissioned our experts at IJsfontein to develop digiboard software for 3 new Argus Clou methods for geography, history and nature and technology. Each lesson theme is concluded in class with a fun digiboard game.

How it works

When a lesson theme is concluded, children play the Digibord race in class. The group is divided into 3 teams that play against each other during the year. It looks something like this:

A pupil is standing in front of the class and the digibord. The pupil is asked a quiz question about the theme that has been studied. The team can then help think about the answer. For each question answered correctly, a joker is earned for the game. The pupil can then play a game on the digibord.

Party

Concluding a lesson theme with a game is considered to be a ‘party’. It encourages pupils to start working on the lesson material and gives them something to work towards.
